'The Mandalorian' star Pedro Pascal has weighed in on the Baby Yoda radio meme - Mashable

Pedro Pascal, star of the new Star Wars live-action TV series, The Mandalorian, has been living everyone's dream lately.

No, not playing the lead role in a Star Wars TV show that will go on to affect pop culture as we know it for generations to come. We're talking about getting to hang out with Baby Yoda.

Since his surprise debut on the first episode on the series, Baby Yoda has been nothing less than an internet sensation, not to mention the cutest thing we have seen throughout our entire history of existence. Baby Yoda has also been a content creation juggernaut, spawning memes and reactions with every glorious frame he's in.

One such meme you may have noticed going around has Baby Yoda and Pascal (AKA Daddy Mando) in the cockpit of a spaceship. Mando, cold and unreadable behind his helmet, has his hands on the controls while Baby Yoda hangs out in the passenger seat, the urge looming to push a glowing green button. Thanks to the various meme edits, this button serves as a radio power switch, blasting tunes that Mando keeps switching off every time Baby Yoda turns it back on.

It is our duty to inform the public that Pascal has seen the meme going around and weighed in via Twitter.

Pascal responded to one meme in particular that used the same clip but with "Africa" by Toto, which worked brilliantly all on its own.

Pascal then quote tweeted it, fully leaning in, saying, "Except I would never switch off that song." Even a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, "Africa" is still an absolute banger.

Pascal is obviously a Mandalorian of taste. We would like the next Mandalorian season to be just Daddy Mando and Baby Yoda jamming in the car on their way to space daycare, please and thank you. Do the right thing, Disney.
