See the Best Street Style From London Fashion Week

Aside from Victorian dresses and fancy hats, one of the touchstones of British fashion is punk. It was a top influence yesterday on the streets of London Fashion Week: Showgoers wore heavy eyeliner, plaid paired with neon yellow accents, and chunky Doc Martens. One person wore a fishnet top under a blazer and tan Bermuda shorts: a just-edgy-enough look. Another fashion insider went with a direct nod to the punk era, carrying a bag with The Who’s logo.

On the flip side, we saw the same provocatively sweet styles that have popped up through fashion month. Pandora Sykes wore a prairie dress (probably by Batsheva) in a pink-and-green calico print. Another woman wore a pink corduroy dress with big, frilly sleeves and black-and-white loafers. If your style is neither punk nor precious, there’s plenty of middle ground to choose from. Look at Winnie Harlow’s slime-green dress, or Alexa Chung’s emerald-green bomber. London fashion is all about personal style, no matter how eccentric.

Our street-style photographer Paul Jeong is following the fashion all month. Scroll to see the best looks from London Fashion Week below, including provocative T-shirts, shades of pink velvet, and plenty of plaid.
