Charity fashion show at Warren luncheon features familiar faces

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) - The Warren Junior Women's League celebrated Christmas in Paradise at its 49th annual Champagne Luncheon on Friday.

Meteorologist Alex George, First News Weekend Morning anchor Molly Reed and reporter Tim Neptune all strutted on the catwalk during the fashion show.

The event is all to raise money for the Children's Rehab Center -- a facility that doesn't turn away a child, regardless of their family's ability to pay for services.

About 450 people attended Friday's luncheon.

"It seems to be like a great way to just start the holiday season, and it's giving, and caring and that's really what the season is about," Chair Jonnah Hetzel said.

The Warren Junior Women's League is usually able to donate about $18,000 to the Children's Rehab Center just from this one event.
