Rihanna Signing Historic Fashion Deal With LVMH: Report - Pitchfork

Rihanna is in the midst of signing a historic fashion deal with LVMH, The New York Times reports. The parent company behind Dior, Givenchy, and Fendi will reportedly give Rihanna her own fashion brand, which would make her the first female designer of color at the company. Details about the deal are currently unknown. Sources within LVMH confirmed the news to the Times, but LVMH has yet to officially comment. Pitchfork has reached out to Rihanna’s representatives for comment.

LVMH, the largest luxury conglomerate in the world, signed Rihanna to its beauty subsidiary Kendo in 2017. Her Fenty Beauty line has been a huge success. She teamed with Puma in 2014 for Fenty Puma. At the time, Puma was owned by LVMH competitor Kering. Her lingerie line Savage X Fenty was debuted last year at an extravagant New York Fashion Week show.
