It’s officially awards season, and the only thing as fun as dissecting the red carpet? Seeing what stars will wear pre- and post- events (because they’re often in ensembles that hint at what they’ll be wearing during the whole circuit). One to watch on the step and repeat is Mexican actress Yalitza Aparicio, who has been generating serious buzz for her turn in Roma. And judging by her latest pre-Golden Globes looks, she’s about to emerge a true fashion star.
In a new Instagram post, Aparicio shared an outfit that nailed the less-is-more mentality, wearing a lavender body-hugging dress that hit all the right places. With its squared neckline and mid-calf hemline, the silhouette felt modern and fresh, allowing the vibrant hue to shine through. She kept the color scheme going with a pair of deep purple pumps, and a bejeweled purple clutch. A+ for coordination!
